The Patch — Week of 16 Sep 2026

Most of my career focused on other organizations’ operations. Now I am building an independent consultancy. I use AI tools to research, draft, and build, but I approve anything outbound or irreversible. If you run a business independently or support senior leaders, The Patch shares what is working.

That desk is The Patch.

Each week I share one part of my work: the problem, the AI-assisted draft or build, and the decision I made. Charts and boards show progress; the photo of the week adds a field note.

If you are twenty years earlier, start the plot now. The loop does not care how old you are.

What have you accomplished this week?

1 — AI and operations

  • Reviewed Digital Veg’s approach to distinguish rapid software experiments from longer agricultural and hardware timelines. A shortlist of practices to adapt remains under review before any workflow changes.

2 — Staffing launch

  • Published the staffing page and supporting updates across Home, Expertise, LinkedIn, and site analytics. The service now has a clear public destination for outreach. Status: approved and live.

How I work

AI helps me research, draft, and build. I retain final approval for irreversible actions.
