Plan the seat. Then fill it.

Enterprise AI adoption for mid-size and enterprise companies, built on 30+ years of IT and shared services leadership. I help companies move AI from scattered pilots to a tool used across the business. I lead the work myself, with AI and agentic tools for support.

How I approach it

  • Assess and pick. I map where AI is already in use, what it costs, and where it could matter most, then we choose two or three workflows worth doing first.
  • Set guardrails and ownership. Shared rules for data, access, and approved tools, and a named business owner for each workflow.
  • Run real workflows. The chosen workflows go into daily use with the people who do the work, not left as demos.
  • Scale across functions. What worked goes to finance, HR, operations, IT, and customer-facing teams with a repeatable playbook.
  • Measure and adjust. Simple measures set up front (time, cost, quality, adoption), reviewed together so the next decisions rest on evidence.

Where I focus

  • AI governance and ownership
  • AI operating model and shared services design
  • IT operations and operating rhythm
  • Workflow selection and rollout
  • Partner selection and oversight

Plan the seat. Then fill it.

When the AI plan calls for people, define the seat first. You define the role. I make the introduction to USM Workforce Management, which handles sourcing and delivery. I stay involved for reporting and renewal. If your teams are writing code with AI tools, one seat worth planning is an experienced engineer from USM’s bench who reviews and tests that code before it ships.
